SUNY Plattsburgh Hillel
Hillel at SUNY Plattsburgh is a vibrant component of the campus community and an active part of campus life. Students meet regularly and enjoy each other’s company at a variety of religious, social and educational events. Hillel is one of the many, diverse clubs and organizations sponsored by the college’s Student Association, so members also have frequent opportunities to contribute their energy to a number of community events and causes.
Hillel is also fortunate to be located next door to Temple Beth Israel, a warm and welcoming congregation that regularly invites Jewish students to attend High Holy Day and Shabbat services and the annual communal Passover Seder.
SUNY Plattsburgh Hillel students invite you to join them as they celebrate Shabbat, observe Jewish holidays and festivals and gather for fun and exciting social events. Hillel students gather regularly each semester to plan, discuss and learn. Several students travel free to Israel each year under the Birthright program.
